Rethinking Recovery

Broadening Our Understanding of “Recovery” and What It Has to Teach Us All

What do you think of when you hear the word “recovery”? For many of us, this word conjures up specific connotations like addiction, substance abuse, and 12-Step programs.

But what if we were to rethink recovery, and lean into the lessons that is has to teach us all?

In this free webinar with Onsite Clinicians Christopher O’Reilly, MA, LPC, and Kathleen Murphy, LPC, LMFT, we’ll explore the misconceptions and history of recovery, as well as the ways this mindset can invite us to a higher quality of life.

We all have areas of our lives in which we attempt to regulate by forming a relationship with something—whether it be alcohol, food, drugs, work, technology or the like. We hope this conversation invites you deeper into your understanding of the ways you cope with the stressors of life and offers you a different way forward towards healing and growth.
