Meet Our Team

Laura Melrose, LMFT

Clinical Director

Laura is a compassionately direct and interactive therapist who specializes in helping people live more fully in their identity and navigate the many roles and relationships they hold. Laura believes that true healing begins with developing a curious and compassionate relationship with yourself to heal past wounds and walk through life more authentically.

As a certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, she focuses on the mind-body connection to help clients identify and heal the parts of themselves that may be holding onto negative beliefs, trauma, or old patterns. By connecting with these parts, clients are able to release stuck burdened beliefs about themselves and move toward more centered living. Laura also combines IFS with other evidenced-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Pyschodrama to support you in reconnecting with your core Self and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Laura also has a background in the music industry prior to her role as a therapist, so she has a unique perspective in working with those in entertainment, sports, and public-facing roles. She values each client as a human “being” vs a human “doing” with a story worthy of being witnessed and healed.

Whether you’re navigating crisis, trauma, or the everyday stress of balancing multiple responsibilities, Laura is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings and make meaningful changes in your life. If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with empathy and insight, Laura could be the right fit for you.
